Lauderhill is home to approximately 75,000 residents across 8.5 square miles — one of South Florida's most vibrant and powerful communities, strengthened by the rich history, resilience, and contributions of African American, Caribbean, Hispanic, Jewish, Christian, and many other cultures, faiths, and backgrounds.

At my core, leadership begins with listening and is measured by the impact it creates.
Her Vision

A Vision for Every Corner of Lauderhill

Lauderhill's diversity is one of its greatest strengths, and the people who call this city home continue to shape its future. For me, public service is personal.

As a caregiver to my senior mother, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and neighbor, I understand the importance of community, support, and the village it takes to help people thrive. With more than 20 years of experience in healthcare financial and operational administration, my professional experience has taught me how to navigate complex systems, connect resources, and identify practical solutions that make a meaningful difference for individuals and families.

"Those experiences continue to shape my commitment to bringing people together and creating practical solutions."

Building Safer, More Connected Neighborhoods

A city of this size and diversity requires leadership that understands the community, listens to residents, and turns ideas into practical action. Strong public safety is built through prevention, community partnerships, and proactive engagement.

The focus will be on strengthening collaboration between residents, community partners, and public safety stakeholders while improving communication between residents and city leadership. Technology and data can help identify service concerns and improve city responsiveness.

Mentoring Generations

Investing in People and Preparing the Future

Our community needs intentional multigenerational leadership. Every generation has a role in shaping Lauderhill's future. The focus will be on expanding youth mentorship, STEAM exposure, leadership development, and career readiness opportunities.

Young people should be encouraged to explore multiple pathways to success, including college, skilled careers, entrepreneurship, and certifications. Families should have stronger connections to resources, and seniors should have meaningful opportunities to remain active, engaged, and valued.

The Outcome: Stronger pathways for young people, better connections for families, and a more engaged community for seniors.

Multiplying Impact

Turning Community Ideas Into Opportunity

Economic mobility and housing affordability are important parts of Lauderhill's future. Leadership should identify needs, bring the right people together, and move ideas toward action.

The focus will be on advancing workforce and career pathways, strengthening support for local businesses and entrepreneurs, and expanding access to homeownership resources and practical housing opportunities. Fiscal responsibility also matters — thoughtful decisions with public resources require clear priorities, responsible planning, and measurable results.

The Outcome: Greater economic opportunity, stronger housing pathways, and responsible investments that create lasting multigenerational impact.
